Major General Curtis Taylor

Commanding General 1st Armored Division & Fort Bliss

MG Curtis Taylor commands the 1st Armored Division at Fort Bliss, Texas. The division recently returned from an operational rotation to Europe spanning across ten countries. His previous assignments include command of the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, activation of the 5th Security Force Assistance Brigade oriented on the Indo-Pacific region, and overseas tours in Europe, Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Republic of Korea. He holds two master’s degrees in security studies.
