Chief of Staff, Defense Strategy Forterra

Kirk Mullins, Colonel US Marine Corps (Ret), is Chief of Staff for Defense Strategy at Forterra, where he serves as a strategic integrator across Forterra’s defense business, ensuring the readiness of Forterra solutions to meet customer needs. Kirk completed his 32-year USMC career in 2022. He began his Marine Corps journey as an enlisted 0311 Infantry Rifleman, and finished as the Chief of Staff, Marine Corps Systems Command. As an Assault Amphibian Officer, Kirk Mullins commanded three Assault Amphibian Companies and a Combat Assault Battalion, which included service in all four Marine Corps Divisions. He has operational combat deployments to Iraq and Africa. As a Defense Acquisition Officer, Kirk Mullins served as the Marine Corps Product Manager for Tactical Radio Systems and as the Program Manager for the Marine Corps Amphibious Combat Vehicle. Upon Retirement from the USMC, Kirk was employed with both Oshkosh Defense and BAE Systems prior to joining Forterra.
