Harry Corstens

Harry Corstens is a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the Royal Netherlands Army with over 15 years of expertise in maintenance and logistics. His career spans leadership of Integrated Logistics Management (ILM) units and service as a maintenance officer embedded within a reconnaissance battalion. After successfully completing the Advanced General Staff Course, Harry served as Corps Operational Planner at the German-Netherlands Corps in Münster, contributing to the NATO Response Force (NRF-4) Planning Team. He concluded his military career in Paris as Liaison Officer to the French Ministry of Defense, where he participated in the EU Mission to Chad. Following his military service, Harry transitioned to the private sector as a management consultant and operational director for a change management firm, where he spent 10 years leading numerous projects, focusing on organizational restructuring and performance improvement. Harry is an alumnus of the Royal Netherlands Military Academy and holds an Executive Master’s degree in Security and Defense from the Dutch Defense Academy and the French War College. He also studied Organizational Management at VU Amsterdam and earned a Master’s degree in Industrial Dynamics from Paris II Panthéon-Assas. He resides in Amsterdam with his partner Nilu and their two children, Anouk and Lucas. A native Dutch speaker, Harry is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and German.
