Since 01 04 2024 Director Military Strategy Division in the MoD.

Previous appointments included Commander Military District Lower Austria, Director Operations Planning Division and Deputy Director Operations Preparation Division/ MoD as well as Commander 18th Infantry Battalion. Attended from 1994 to 1997 General Staff Course at the National Defence Academy and previously from 1985 to 1988 Military Academy.

International Operations: 1999 to 2000 UNFICYP, Chief Operation Officer and NCC. 2005 EUFOR ALTHEA Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chief of Staff and NCC MNTF N.
