Royal Navy Beats Somali Pirates

For the first time a Coalition warship, the Royal Navy’s HMS Lancaster, has sailed into the Somali pirates’ home waters to strike at their camps. The Red Rose, as HMS Lancaster is known, entered Somali waters and targeted several pirate camps. She also scrambled her 815 Naval Air Squadron Lynx helicopter to range up and down the coast, carrying out surveillance and identifying numerous enclaves used by the raiders.
