Nigerian Navy to buy surplus US helicopters?

US Naval Air Systems Command (Navair) confirmed the Nigerian Navy has expressed an interest in acquiring some of its surplus helicopters and has sent a delegation to explore a deal.
The Nigerian Navy is interested in buying CH-46 Sea Knight and SH-2 Seasprite helicopters according to Navair.
No numbers have been confirmed although a Nigerian Navy delegation visited Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in North Carolina and was given a search and rescue demonstration.
