BAE Systems wins Audacious contract!

BAE Systems has been handed a £1.2 billion contract to build the fourth of seven Astute Class submarines for the Royal Navy. The latest vessel, called Audacious, will support 3,000 jobs at the company’s Barrow-in-Furness plant. In addition the MoD has rubber-stamped a further £1.5 billion investment towards the remaining three Astute Class submarines.
