F-35 software problems pose yet more delays
While the F-35 programme office had some good news yesterday following South Korea’s confirmation that it would buy 40 of the fifth generation fighters, the US Government Accountability Office (GAO) revealed more sobering findings.
According to a GAO report, delays to the F-35’s software will impact the operational capability of the JSF, particularly hitting the STOVL variant with delays of up to 13 months reported.
