Bharat Forge, part of Indian conglomerate the Kalyani Group, has acquired Ruag’s gun manufacturing facility and plans to establish a joint venture with Israel’s Elbit Systems. The new venue, called BF Elbit Advanced, will establish Bharat as a major player in the Indian artillery market.
