International Dismounted Soldier Agenda

International Dismounted Soldier Agenda
Defence iQ is proud to host the 17th edition of the International Dismounted Soldier Conference in London this December.

The full 2026 agenda is now available to view and download, providing an in-depth look at the speakers, sessions and capability updates shaping this year's programme.

The International Dismounted Soldier Conference brings together senior military leaders, operational commanders, programme managers and industry experts from across NATO and allied nations to examine how the dismounted force must evolve for the realities of modern warfare. Across two days, the programme will explore how people, technology and tactics are being brought together to deliver greater lethality, survivability, connectivity and resilience at the tactical edge.

The 2026 programme features national capability updates and operational insights from across the international dismounted community, including the Canadian Army's Modular Assault Rifle Programme, the Netherlands' Soldier Modernisation initiative, Germany's Digitisation of Land-Based Operations (D-LBO) Programme and France's approach to developing the soldier for the uncrewed battlefield. Delegates will also hear directly from Ukraine on operating in a contested electromagnetic environment, explore lessons from the British Army's Exercise HEDGEHOG and Dismounted Soldier System, and examine approaches to Arctic and high-intensity operations from Norway, Austria and other NATO allies.
