'European Union Naval Forces' Takes a Firm Stand Against Somali Piracy

European Union Naval Force (EU NAVFOR) is a multinational force that deals primarily with deterrence and interdiction of criminal piracy in places like Somalia and the Red Sea. It also specialises in an escort capacity for the World Food Programme, which operates under UN mandate.
