Rear Admiral Terry Loughran (Rt’d) gives an overview of the current state of the Royal Navy, offering priceless insight on its performance in comparison to other services in current operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. He focuses on the role that international trade has played in defining Royal Navy roles from the 1960s onwards.
