Electronic Architectures for AFV's: Evolution not Revolution

Ultra Electronics has been providing electronics for Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs) for over 40 years. Drawing on its recent involvement in UK MoD AFV programmes, this paper describes how vehicle electronic architectures are evolving to provide a more open, modular and scalable architecture which accommodates the role of the AFVs not just for today but for the future.
