Latest market study on 3D printing to explore impact on planes and satellites

Hailed as the third industrial revolution, aerospace firms will be using additive manufacturing (AM) to make more than $3bn in parts by 2022, up from just over $700m in 2017 – that’s a 328 per cent increase in just five years

But AM is still young, and engineers and their companies have a lot to learn about the best way to design with it and the best way to integrate it into their broader manufacturing processes.

Ahead of the annual Additive Manufacturing for Aerospace & Space conference (Munich; 20-22 February 2018), we are asking those involved in this industry to somplete a short survey to help the community understand the benefits, challenges and the immediate trends in this exciting field.
