Charles Sadowski Jr is a specialist on Combat Identification Systems. Having served in the US Air Force for 20 years as an F-15 instructor pilot and then flying Boeing 727s for Pan American Airways, he now works as an engineer on military CID systems with consultancy firm Booz Allen Hamilton. Chuck speaks to Defence IQ about reducing the risk of friendly fire instances and collateral damage, the options in providing a unified approach to training and preparation in this field, and an overview of his upcoming conference presentation on the joint warfighter perspective of CID.
