US Radar Station to be Built in Qatar

The United States Department of Defence has confirmed that it will be establishing a new missile defence radar station in Qatar.
While the exact location of the station will not be revealed, the base will form part of the ongoing effort of US and Middle Eastern allies to build a comprehensive defensive system in the Persian Gulf to protect all involved from the prospect of rogue nation attacks.
