U.S. Navy testing Northrop’s MFAS radar on MQ-4C

Northrop Grumman’s multi function active sensor (MFAS), which is one of the first active electronically scanned array (AESA) radars with 360° coverage, has begun flight testing by the U.S. Navy. The first test flight aboard MQ-4C Triton was completed on 18 April. MFAS, which is part of a $12.8 billion surveillance capability
