PSYOP and the Afghanistan election: How it works
This year, Afghan President Hamid Karzai will step down from office. A controversial figure within both politics and media, Karzai has been at times both an ally and at striking odds with NATO forces. He will hand over governorship of a nation still divided, still under threat, and with an uncertain future. If, however, there is one thing that Karzai and the coalition can agree on, it is that the people of Afghanistan be given the right to choose their own path, without interference.
