New networked radios show the way of the future for battlefield communications?

BAE Systems has unveiled a new range of networking radios to meet the U.S. Army’s request for a non-developmental mid-tier networking vehicular radio (MNVR) solution. The new family of radios, known as Phoenix, are said to deliver secure and jam-resistant communications between the warfighter on the battlefield and their headquarters.
