Information Operations is not just a requirement during military operations but also of peacetime. Adversaries, such as terrorists, and potential adversaries will continue to push their agenda in efforts to recruit, to corrupt or to incite, whether our forces are engaged in conflict or not. It is therefore imperative that IO operators continue to counter the threats where they appear so that instigations of conflict can be contained and subdued before reaching a boiling point.
