Denmark wheely wants Piranha 5 armoured personnel carrier

Denmark’s long-running search for its next-generation armoured personnel carrier (APC) appears to be over with the Royal Danish Army set to acquire the MOWAG Piranha 5 8x8 vehicle from General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS).
A minimum of 206 Piranha 5s will replace Denmark’s ageing M113 tracked APC fleet. The order, which is Europe's largest armoured vehicle programme, could rise to as many as 450 vehicles.
