BAE Systems wins $1.2 billion AMPV contract

The U.S. Army has awarded BAE Systems a $1.2 billion contract for the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development (EMD) and Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) phase of the Armoured Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV). The company will use its combat proven Bradley platform for the AMPV.
