Asia to overtake Europe in its defence spend this year

By the end of 2012 Asia is expected to be spending more on defence than Europe according to a new study by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, which explores the budgets of the region’s five biggest spenders including China, India, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.
