Minehunter returns home from Gulf after supporting Operation Kipion
The Royal Navy’s minehunting ship HMS Quorn returned to its home in Portsmouth this week after an eight month deployment in the Gulf, according to Portsmouth News.
The ship, named after a historic fox hunt in Leicester, took part in Operation Kipion, which helped keep sea lanes open and combat illegal maritime activity in the Gulf region.
