UK’s FIST Moves Forward After STA Element Approved

The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has approved the Surveillance and Target Acquisition (STA) element of the Future Integrated Soldier Technology (FIST) programme. The GBP 150 million (US$248 million) deal with Thales will cover a range of equipment, particularly sensors and sights designed to improve target location, sighting at long ranges and observation and image capture abilities.
