UK MoD Shortlists Suppliers for Land EW Project

The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has revealed a shortlist of companies lining up for a requirement to supply electronic warfare (EW) systems and countermeasures for operations in Afghanistan. Dubbed Project "Seer" by the MoD, the proposal is understood to form part of a wider urgent operational requirement (UOR). A total of 58 fully integrated (or modular) ruggedized EW manpack systems are sought, which will include electronic detection apparatus and EW systems and countermeasures.
