In July, one the last deliveries of heavy equipment arrived back to Britain from Iraq, with some of the kit being refurbished and ready to be sent back out to Afghanistan as part of the UK's efforts to support ongoing operations in the Middle Eastern country.
The Ministry of Defence's (MoD's) military logistics ship, Anvil Point, docked in Southampton carrying vehicles, stores and other equipment used in operation TELIC in Iraq, including Mastiff armoured personnel carriers.
