Troop Removal From Iraq Timely and Costly
Earlier this year, the UK saw the official end to its presence in Iraq after more than six years in the country. The final move saw the 20th Armoured Brigade move out of the country and the government claiming the war as a "success story."
The move out was a month ahead of schedule and was closed in a meeting between UK prime minister Gordon Brown and Iraqi prime minister Nouri Maliki.
Brown praised the work of British troops, describing the mission as a "success story."
