Slovakia hints at new small arms tender
The Slovakian Ministry of Defence has suggested that it is in the process of formulating a new tender for Army assault rifles, semi-automatic pistols and submachine guns from Czech small arms manufacturer Ceska Zbrojovka Uhersky Brod.
The news comes on the back of continued violence in Ukraine and follows a series of announcements from bordering nations, including Romania and Poland, to see defence spending rise.
