Romania readies small arms factories for major output
The Romanian Ministry of National Defence has announced a new investment into its defence plans, with most of the capital going towards the modernisation of soldier systems and equipment.
In May, Defence Minister Mircea Dusa explained to a press conference that the previous government had not done enough to strengthen the Armed Forces but that the country made a NATO commitment to a Defence allocation of 2 percent of GDP, which it will now be nearing.
