Indian Army Plans for Next Generation Loitering Artillery
India’s Army is making steps toward acquiring medium-range loitering missiles as part of its artillery modernisation plan.
According to the Annual Report presented by the Indian Ministry of Defence to Parliament, the artillery fired medium-range loitering missile is expected to hover above a target for up to 30 minutes and send data on the targeted enemy while airborne - akin to a UAV.
