Rheinmetall in its joint venture with MAN trucks has announced a $1.45 billion contract with Australia to supply 2,500 logistical vehicles to the Australian Defence Force. The deal is part of a wide-reaching modernisation programme known as Land 121.
"The Australian Defence Force has contracted with Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) to supply it with an extensive fleet of advanced logistical vehicles," Rheinmetall said in a statement.
