The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is running a competition asking for people to submit designs for a new armoured vehicle. The FANG (Fast, Adaptable, Next-Generation Ground Vehicle) will be a new heavy, amphibious infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) along the same lines as the Marine Corps’ Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV).
