As the past few weeks have demonstrated, the frequency with which military flight training exercises end in crashes or collisions – often leading to serious injury or fatality – is high enough to review the methodology and precautions that both trainers and trainees are prepared with before taking to the air, and ideally, sharing those experiences with other international services.
