Chief of the Defence Staff Strategic Communication Officer Major General John Lorimer said: "UK missions in support of NATO’s Operation Unified Protector to enforce UNSCR 1973 and to protect Libyan civilians continued at a high tempo yesterday, Thursday 14 April, across Libya. RAF Tornado GR4 aircraft hit one tank and one armoured vehicle south of Tripoli using Brimstone missiles and one missile transporter in the area of Misrata using Paveway IV bombs. RAF Tornado and Typhoon aircraft also hit a heavy equipment transporter and a munitions store in the Misrata area using Enhanced Paveway II and Paveway IV bombs."
