Vietnam to buy 12 Russian Su-30 fighters

Russia’s Sukhoi-30 multirole fighter aircraft continues to make an impression on the global markets with Vietnam set to acquire 12 jets, according to Russian news agency Interfax. Under a deal signed last week the aircraft will be delivered between 2014 and 2015 and could be worth around $600 million. In recent years over 130 Su-30 fighter jets have been delivered to China, Indonesia, Vietnam and Venezuela. [eventpdf]
