Turkey releases RFI for indigenous TF-X fighter jet programme

Turkey has released a Request for Information (RFI) for its indigenous fighter jet programme set to replace the F-16 fighter fleet by 2030, according to reports.
Dubbed the TF-X programme, the fighter will be an exclusively designed, developed and manufactured in Turkey. The government procurement agency, the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries (SSM), said the fighter will meet the Turkish Armed Forces’ next generation requirements.
