Turkey reissues order for F-35 Joint Strike Fighter
Turkey is back in for the F-35 after withdrawing an initial order for two fighters in January based on budget and technology concerns. The government is now set to reissue the order according to Turkey’s top procurement official, Murad Bayar.
"We will submit a request to the Defense Industry Executive Committee in December or January to renew our order for the first two aircraft," Bayar said, referencing a previously suspended order for two Lockheed Martin F-35 joint strike fighters...
