South Korea to export FA-50 fighters to Philippines
South Korean President Park Geun-hye and Philippine President Benigno Aquino III met yesterday to comes to terms on an agreement to bolster defence ties between the two countries. As part of the deal, South Korea will export a dozen FA-50 fighter jets, a variant of the T-50 Golden Eagle supersonic trainer jets jointly developed by Lockheed Martin and Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI).
