MOSCOW. Aug 5 (Interfax) - Russia lost four aircrafts, including one Tupolev Tu-22 tactical bomber, in the operation to force Georgia into peace in August 2008, Russian General Staff Deputy Head Col. Gen. Anatoly Nogovitsyn said.
"The Russian air force lost four pilots and four planes in the conflict," Nogovitsyn said at a news conference in Moscow on Wednesday.
