Eight people are confirmed to have died last night when a Russian made IL-76 crashed on its way to Bagram US military air base in Afghanistan. Officials at the Afghan Ministry of Interior confirmed eight deaths and that the recovery effort was ongoing, but that the cause of the crash was unknown.
