Italy primed for first international F-35 flight
Italy will conduct the first F-35 flight outside the US in October, according to Lockheed Martin. The first test flight will be followed by a transatlantic crossing in early 2016 to Luke Air Force Base in Arizona where Italian pilots will train on the 5th generation platform.
