A U.S. Air Force major has become the 100th pilot to fly the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter. Maj Robert Miller, assigned to the 31st Test and Evaluation Squadron at Edwards Air Force Base, undertook the 90-minute familiarisation flight after academic and simulator instruction on the F-35 at Eglin Air Force Base’s Integrated Training Centre.
