F-15C May Become Electronic Warfare Platform

The U.S. Air National Guard (ANG) is considering modifying some of its F-15C fighters to fulfill an electronic warfare (EW) role. Once part of the fleet has been upgraded with Raytheon’s AN/APG-63 (V)3 active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar, it will be possible to add a jamming pod on the aircraft’s centreline weapon station.
