1. The C-17 lands in India
On June 18th, the first of 10 U.S. built Boeing C-17 Globemaster IIIs was officially handed over to the Indian Air Force at the Long Beach, California plant before being delivered direct to the nation’s doorstep.
It’s maiden flight saw it transport an Army infantry battalion to the military outpost in the Andman and Nicobar Islands.
