Every day Defence IQ publishes articles on the website, but we thought it would be a good idea if we picked out the very best and brightest pieces once in a while. We wanted to put them all in one place to make it an easily accessible and engaging read for all Defence IQ readers. And so the Defence IQ Review was born.

This first issue of the Defence IQ Review for Q3 2012 features opinion on the UK’s recent U-turn on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and an exclusive interview with Peter Luff, the Defence Minister responsible for procurement. Other topics include a great analysis of the use of social media during the Arab Spring and the U.S. Army’s decision to equip its troops with smartphones.
