An estimated 24,000 men and women leave the Armed Forces each year to begin their lives as civilians, only to join one of the toughest job markets the UK has seen, leaving them to compete with over 2.5 million existing unemployed people. However, rather than face months of job searching, some are opting to launch their own businesses.
