Now that Obama’s red line has been crossed, will he respond with proportional force? After the ‘undeniable’ use of chemical weapons in Syria last week every newswire is hanging on Obama’s next move. Every day that goes by reduces the impact of a military response and increases the debate between politicians, defence analysts and the public regarding the dangers of intervention versus the moral obligation to respond.
