EADS – or the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company N.V. in long-form – is set for a rebrand by capitalising on the global Airbus brand. Tom Enders, the maverick CEO determined to rid the company of any political interference or apparent influence, is seeking to rename the company the Airbus Group, with three divisions: Airbus Commercial Aircraft, Airbus Defence & Space, and Airbus Helicopters.
