Boston Marathon targeted in twin explosions, three killed

Three people have been killed and 144 injured in a twin explosion at the finish line of the Boston Marathon yesterday. The police conducted at least one controlled explosion on another suspect device. Police were thought to have held a man in custody relating to the attacks and there are unconfirmed reports that that a house in Revere, five miles from where the bombs went off in Boston, had been raided by the FBI.
